Deep Cut Recommendations

As we all know, IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes and awesome places like that will always give you some recommendations… People who liked THIS also liked THIS. Your Most Excellent Hosts have their own recommendations, perhaps a bit further off the beaten track.

Nathan and Andy actually had the exact same recommendation and they both strongly recommend Dredd. …the 2012 version with Karl Urban, not the one with Sylvester Stalone.

Krissy wants to take you way in the other direction, as usual. She recommends that, after you watch something as disturbing and bloody as Robocop, you take in two episodes of something nice, fun and funny. Something where the police and the precinct are cuddly, supportive and awesome. Check out Brooklyn 99!

What’s Next?

Next up on the Most Excellent 80s Movies Podcast is a Holiday Spectacular… we are watching everyone’s favorite Christmas movie… Die Hard!

IMDB says... John McClane, officer of the NYPD, tries to save his wife Holly Gennaro and several others that were taken hostage by German terrorist Hans Gruber during a Christmas party at the Nakatomi Plaza in Los Angeles.
