Megan’s Best of Season 3 – E08 Mad Max and The Road Warrior

Picking my favorite episode is always a fun but difficult exercise. As an executive producer, picking the episode I like best is like picking which one of my pets is my favorite. But, pick I must, and so for you dear geeks and educatees, I bring you Mad Max and The Road Warrior.

E[G] Drinking Game S3 E08 – Mad Max and The Road Warrior

This week on the Educating [Geeks] Drinking Game Podcast the group covers both Mad Max and The Road Warrior. The ladies get a little silly over Alice fumbling over words about baby maintenance, Megan is correct that no actual Australian Sign Language is used in the film and Krissy gets to wondering about bicycles and skateboards. Our toast this time around contains an expletive — you’ve been warned.

Educating [Geeks] S3 E08 – Mad Max & The Road Warrior

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the U.S. release of Mad Max and the opening of Fury Road this summer, the hosts got together to discuss George Miller’s Mad Max and The Road Warrior.

Megan wonders if the writers of Mad Max forgot about the baby and gives one of the Road Warrior characters a new name. Alice is surprised by how much she enjoyed watching Mad Max this time around and finds herself stuck in nostalgia land again for The Road Warrior. Krissy identifies the one scene she liked in Mad Max and declares she’d like to open the post-apocalyptic emporium. She closes out the podcast with the reading of some beat poetry that cannot be missed.
